Is mindfulness good for anxiety?

Mindfulness can help to eliminate some symptoms of anxiety, as those with anxiety often find themselves worried about things out of their control and what will happen in the future. Mindfulness works to counteract worry by teaching us to respond to stress proactively rather than relying on instinct and immediately responding.

Mindfulness allows you to take time to think and process your emotions so that you fully understand what you're feeling and how it has an impact on what you're thinking. With regular practice, paying attention to your mind and body in the moment can reduce stress, worry, and other anxiety symptoms.
